Investors Realty Investors Realty Dagsboro, DE Dagsboro, DE Full-time Full-time $20 - $24 an hour $20 - $24 an hour This position is based in Dagsboro but will cover our Sussex County Region which includes existing locations in Millsboro, Georgetown, and Rehoboth and future locations in Laurel, Greenwood and Milton.
A company vehicle will be provided.
You must have both a clean driving record and valid drivers license.
On Call is required as needed and will be paid in addition to hourly rate.
Basic repair and maintenance of commercial buildings and grounds.
Oversee preventative maintenance of buildings, grounds, systems, vehicles, and equipment.
Maintain seasonal inventory and equipment.
Basic Building Repair and Maintenance Replace light fixtures on interior and exterior of buildings Replace light bulbs on interior and exterior of buildings Paint entry doors Remove/replace toilets, snake/unclog drains Replace door sweeps and weather stripping on entrance/exterior doors Replace batteries in Fire Exit safety lights Replace panic bars on doors Repair/maintain roll up doors Including springs/hasps/tracks Change/clean HVAC filters as scheduled Clean/maintain/replace gutters and downspouts Perform quarterly walk-through inspection and follow up maintenance Perform general repairs/maintenance as required Gates, Fences, Protective Bollards Perform quarterly gate maintenance/lubrication Adjust and lubricate gate opening chains monthly Repair fence as needed Repair/replace protective bollards as needed Grounds Weed spray gravel areas, sidewalks, and curbs Snow shoveling and salting as needed Mowing as needed Pond maintenance as needed Maintain a Preventative Maintenance Program including but not limited to Roof replacement Blacktop sealing Parking lot striping Patch repair Stone/gravel Maintain stock and inventory for Salt Spreaders Shovels Sprayers Weed spray Vehicles and Equipment Inspect vehicles and equipment before and after use Perform scheduled preventative maintenance as required Use vehicles and equipment in a manner to avoid damage and unnecessary repairs Physical Demands Must be able to occasionally lift up to 80lbs Must be able to stand, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, and twist repetitively Must be able to stand continuously for long periods Must be able to climb ladders and tolerate heights Must be able to tolerate climate changes Must be able to accommodate fluctuating on-call schedule Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of general construction, plumbing, electric Ability to operate power tools and outdoor power equipment Ability to understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS) Attention to detail and accuracy Valid driver's license and clean driving record Perform additional duties as needed and/or assigned Job Type:
